That's amoré

Crossed another restaurant off the list last night: Olivella's. Despite the husband's working late, we managed a quick date here. We ordered the quattro staggioni pizza (tomato sauce, house-made mozzarella, artichokes, sopressata, anchovy, mushroom, and ham) and a couple glasses of wine. Anchovies only on my side though, I think I'm one of 5 people in the universe that likes anchovies on pizza (and even more in caesar salad!). I thought it scrumptious, he thought it "eh." I think he had Campania's on the brain and I made him try a new place. But I'd love to go back, and it's right next to SMU, so it's super close by. Thumbs up.

Kim Alexander

She's a local Dallas artist I discovered through a friend's Facebook page. Here's some more about her. Quite bizarre and wonderful paintings I hope to see live one day,

Attack of the Winos

I just returned from the most glorious weekend pretty much since I got  married, in Wine Country, CA. We were there for an absolutely beyond perfect wedding of a friend and had some time to wine and dine in between festivities. I'll share photos when they're posted on the bride's blog. And in the next few days I'll try to post some of my own, but I really didn't take many at all. Let me just say that if you ever find yourself in Napa to rent a convertible! We got a brand new Mustang, in red of course, and have the farmer's tans to prove it.

For now I leave you with these kick ass tees from Christopher Kane. You know, in case you have ₤250 lying around. Enjoy!
